Not a conference. It's proof.

Three days of live projects — real homes, real methods, real numbers — showing that affordable, mortgage-free housing isn't a theory. It's built. And then asking Australia: so what do we do about it?

The Programme

Three days, three moves

Day 1 · Friday

The

meeting

5:00pm – 9:00pm
Convention Centre

Meet your speakers, register and start the conversation. All project owners will be available so make sure to introduce yourselves. We will serve drinks and tapas on this evening.

Day 2 · Saturday

The
Live Tour

7:00am – 9:00pm
On the road & in the room

Leave the room and go see it built. Buses from the Centre, or self-drive with maps designed by the Taskforce so your trip runs your way. Every stop catered, all day — then back for the evening event.

Day 3 · Sunday

The

panel

9:00am – 5:00pm
Convention Centre

The panel line-up for a major Q&A — All the questions answered. The last session is dedicated to sitting in groups with the owner of your favourite project, do a real time deal on paper and prove it to yourself.

The questions we get asked

  • Do I need to be a builder or a developer?

No. The whole point is that you're not one yet. You come as an armchair developer, follow the real numbers and timeframes on five live projects, and ask the questions then make your decision to join the investors solving the problem.

  • Do I need my own transport to see the projects?

No, you won't need a car but there is the option to drive yourself. We will have buses that will go to each project or you can drive yourself giving you more freedom of choice as to what you see and you can also reach out and car pool. There are options.

  • Will there be facilities at all the projects?

Yes, there will be food and drink at all destination projects. All projects will have working toilets so you will be comfortable at any project visited.

  • Will I be able to ask questions at each project?

Yes, all projects will have a project manager available for all questions. All owners of the projects will be available on the meet and greet Friday night function and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions of the panel on Sunday.

  • What will I need to bring?

As with all these type of functions, it is suggested that you bring something warm for the in room function on Sunday as the rooms can often be cool. You will receive a conference pack on registration with note pad and pen plus your map to find projects on the tour Saturday.

  • I am travelling from Interstate. Where can I stay?

There are many options for accommodation close to the Brisbane Convention Centre. We recommend Ridges Hotel as one of our favourites

  • Will there be directions to the function area once I am at the Convention Centre?

Yes. There will be guidance signs to the function once you are inside the centre, and our team at registration will point you in the right direction.
